PCOS or polycystic ovary syndrome is a
metabolic disorder which can lead to noo periods or irregular periods in
females. People having PCOS can have multiple cysts in their ovaries. It occurs
due to overproduction of androgens like testosterone.
These people have higher levels of a
hormone called insulin in their bodies. Insulin is responsible for converting
sugar or glucose into energy. Blood sugar levels tend to increase when the body
does not produce enough insulin or is not able to use the insulin present that
is insulin resistance.
If there is insulin resistance in the
body, it produces more insulin for metabolising glucose. Higher amounts of
insulin lead to overproduction of androgens which ultimately causes PCOS.

blueberries etc to reduce inflammatory effects.
